Meet the Teachers

Mrs. Goranson

A little bit about me…
I grew up in Sullivan, Wisconsin, a small town between Milwaukee and Madison.  I’m really close with my family and I grew up surrounded by educators, as my parents are both in the field.  I graduated from Carroll University with a degree in Elementary Education.  I’m currently taking graduate courses at Concordia University towards my Masters in Education Design and Technology.  I am a sixth grade teacher in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin and I have really found my passion for teaching middle school aged students.

Some things I love are my husband Alex, my family, and my dog Abby.  I also love playing and coaching tennis (I’m the JV Coach at Oconomowoc High School).  In my free time I love to read and keep active.
I feel lucky to be able to teach sixth graders, as they are at such a unique age.  I get to hang out with kids that are self-sufficient, reliable, responsible, and just fun to be around.  We do some really neat things and I’m excited to share them on this blog!

Mr. Krill

Hello I am Mr. Krill,

It is a pleasure to meet you, work with you, and offer my passion and excitement for learning and education everyday. I have been teaching for close to 15 years.  I spent the beginning part of my career in Orlando, Florida in an urban setting.  I have spent the current part of my career in  the Oconomowoc area school district. I have a masters in peer leadership and instruction from Carroll University. I have a wonderful Wife Emily and three young children Wolfgang 9, Gabriel 3, and Samuel 2.  We live in Ixonia.  My favorite past times are playing and writing music.  I enjoy writing and making videos as well. I am extremely excited to be a part of your year.  I know it will be full or excitement, innovation, and FUN.

Sincerely,

Michael Krill
